Being Filled with the Wisdom and Understanding

In March, we seek divine wisdom and understanding to help us navigate the year with clarity, deepening our knowledge of God’s truth and purpose.

WEEK ONE | The Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding

  1. Let’s glorify the Lord for the presence of the Spirit of wisdom and understanding He has made available for the body of Christ. (Isaiah 11:1-2)
  2. Pray that we will have a knowledge of His will, informed by true spiritual understanding, to know God and what He requires from us. (Colossians 1:9-14)
  3. Pray for the fear of the Lord in our generation, that our families, nations, and communities will acknowledge His presence and receive wisdom and understanding. (Proverbs 1:7)
  4. Pray against falsehood and unsound doctrine in the body of Christ, asking the Lord to uproot any form of false teaching. (Colossians 1:1-5)
  5. Declare that the body of Christ will be filled with wisdom to make wise decisions as a lifestyle. (James 1:5)
  6. Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill us with wisdom and discernment to navigate this world and serve God faithfully. (1 John 4:1)
  7. Pray that we will not lean on our own understanding but trust in His ways. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
  8. Ask the Lord to open our eyes to understand and discern the truth revealed in the Scriptures. (Psalm 119:105)
  9. Pray for discernment to recognize and reject the lies and deceptions of the enemy. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
  10. Declare that the hunger to study the Word of the Lord will increase in our generation. (Psalm 119:130)

WEEK TWO | Walking in Divine Wisdom

  1. Let’s glorify the Lord for the grace to apply divine wisdom in our daily lives, work, and relationships. (Ecclesiastes 10:10)
  2. Pray that we will walk in wisdom, managing our time and priorities according to God’s will. (Ephesians 5:15-17)
  3. Ask the Lord for wisdom to handle conflicts and challenges with a godly perspective. (James 3:17)
  4. Declare that we will seek wisdom above riches, power, or fame, valuing God’s guidance above all. (Proverbs 16:16)
  5. Pray for the wisdom to guard our speech, that our words will edify and bring life. (Proverbs 18:21)
  6. Ask for divine wisdom to raise godly children and build strong, Christ-centered families. (Proverbs 22:6)
  7. Pray that we will be filled with wisdom to handle financial matters with integrity and foresight. (Proverbs 21:5)
  8. Ask for wisdom in leadership—whether in the home, church, or workplace—to lead with discernment and righteousness. (1 Kings 3:9)
  9. Pray that we will be known for making wise and godly choices in every aspect of life. (Matthew 7:24-25)
  10. Declare that the wisdom of God will set His people apart and make them a light to the nations. (Daniel 1:20)

WEEK THREE | Understanding God’s Word and Will

  1. Pray for a deeper understanding of God’s Word and revelation knowledge of His truth. (Ephesians 1:17-18)
  2. Ask for a teachable spirit to receive and apply divine instructions. (Proverbs 4:7)
  3. Pray for the ability to interpret and apply the Scriptures accurately. (2 Timothy 2:15)
  4. Declare that we will meditate on God’s Word day and night for success and prosperity. (Joshua 1:8)
  5. Ask for understanding of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. (Matthew 13:11)
  6. Pray that God will open our minds to comprehend His Word. (Luke 24:45)
  7. Ask for discernment to know God’s will in times of decision-making. (Romans 12:2)
  8. Pray for an increase in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus grew. (Luke 2:52)
  9. Ask God to give us a desire to know Him more deeply through His Word. (Philippians 3:10)
  10. Declare that wisdom and understanding will guide our steps daily. (Psalm 119:133)

WEEK FOUR | Impact of Wisdom and Understanding in the World

  1. Pray that believers will demonstrate wisdom in the way they live, bringing glory to God. (Colossians 4:5)
  2. Ask for wisdom to evangelize and minister effectively to others. (Proverbs 11:30)
  3. Pray for wisdom in handling workplace situations and challenges. (Daniel 6:3)
  4. Declare that wisdom and understanding will empower us to be effective ambassadors of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
  5. Pray for wisdom in governing and making policies that align with God’s will. (Proverbs 29:2)
  6. Ask for divine strategies to solve global challenges through godly wisdom. (Genesis 41:39-40)
  7. Pray that the Church will be known as a place of wisdom and understanding. (Isaiah 2:2-3)
  8. Ask for wisdom to discern the times and seasons we live in. (1 Chronicles 12:32)
  9. Pray that our lives will be a testimony of the wisdom and knowledge of God. (Matthew 5:14-16)
  10. Declare that through wisdom, the Church will lead nations into righteousness. (Proverbs 14:34)
