Being Filled with Power and Overflowing with Thankfulness

October will emphasize being filled with His power and expressing continual thankfulness, acknowledging His work in our lives with a grateful heart.

WEEK ONE | Empowered For purposeful Living in Christ

  1. Let’s pray to be empowered to fulfill the demands of holy living through faith and shun every element of worldliness (James 4:4), Galatians 5:25
  2. We are praying unto the Father that we will be consecrated to a life of holy living (1 Peter 1:15)
  3. Let’s pray that we will be empowered and propelled to a life of purposeful purity and holiness (1 Thessalonians 4: 7, Hebrews 12:14)
  4. Let’s pray that we will live above the sinful nature and carnal mindedness (Titus 2: 11-12)
  5. Let us pray that we will be empowered to a life of perpetual consecration unto holy living in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:19)
  6. Let us pray that our spirit will be elevated to serve in holiness and purity (1 Corinthians 10:13)
  7. Let us pray that our lives will be empowered to subdue the flesh and worldly desires that are not in conformity to the deity of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:4, Colossians 3:5)
  8. We are praying that our father helps us not to depart from the Bethel and from holy living (Colossians 3:2)
  9. We are praying that the Holy Spirit empower me to put on Christ daily in truth and in spirit (Ephesians 6-10-17)
  10. Father, continually help me rise above setbacks that entangle me in my service to you through holy living (Hebrews 12:1)

WEEK TWO | Being rooted and built in HIM

  1. We are praying that we will be firmly rooted in Christ, drawing nourishment for our spirit, body, and soul (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
  2. Let’s pray that our lives will be deep-rooted in HIM, to stand and grow firmly in every season of life (Colossians 2:6-7, Ephesians 3:16-17)
  3. We are praying that Father, anchor us in the unadulterated truth, not to be deceived by ravenous wolves (John 8: 31-32, Acts 20:29-30)
  4. Father, instruct my heart and spirit to abide in You (John 15:14, Psalms 27:4)
  5. Father help me stay and grow in grace, knowledge, and love for all and in all seasons (Psalms 119: 160, 2 Timothy 2:15)
  6. Father, help me stay connected with your holy assembly (Ecclesiastics 4:9-10, Psalm 91:1, Hebrews 10:24-25)
  7. Let’s pray to understand and wear the identity of Christ as His beloved Child (Galatians 3:26, I John 3:1, Romans 8:16)
  8. Father, help me to abound and be rooted in love for your word and people (Ephesians 3:17-19
  9. 9 Father, help me, oh Lord, to be rooted in prayer (Colossians 4:2)
  10. Let us pray for the fervency that comes in being in HIM (Romans 12:11, I Corinthians 16:3)

WEEK THREE | Being strengthened in Faith

  1. Let’s pray that we may be endowed with faith that glorifies Christ Jesus (Matthew 5:16, 1 John 5:4)
  2. Oh Lord, strengthen my faith daily (2 Corinthians 5:7)
  3. Oh Lord, increase my faith in the face of fear and adversity (Mark 5.36)
  4. Oh Lord, strengthen my faith for miracles and breakthrough (Mathew 17:20)
  5. Let’s pray for the peace that comes in faith in times of challenges (Isaiah 26:2-3)
  6. Oh Father, strengthen me with the shield of faith against the pestilence of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16)
  7. Father, let my faith grow as I read and meditate on Your word daily (Romans 10:17)
  8. Oh Lord, help me be rooted in faith even when situations seem impossible (Matthew 19:26)
  9. Lord help me to take bold decisions and step out, deep-rooted in faith (Hebrews 11:8, Joshua 1:9)
  10. Merciful Father, help me forgive myself and others as an act of faith (Mark 11: 25, 1 John: 9)

WEEK FOUR | Overflowing in Thankfulness

  1. Father, thank you for establishing my faith and feet in you (Psalms 40:2)
  2. Father, thank you for strengthening my faith in times of waiting (Isaiah 40:31)
  3. Let’s pray to thank God for his love and hand upon us even in difficult and challenging circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
  4. Father, we are thankful that we are partakers of your plans and mandate for men (Colossians 3:17)
  5. Father, we are thankful for being good unto us even when we don’t understand your ways (Romans 8:28, Isaiah 55:8-9)
  6. Father, thank you for being our strength and shield (Psalms 28:7)
  7. Father, we are grateful for the overflowing blessings even when we do not see (1 Kings 17:8-16)
  8. Father, we are grateful for the spiritual deposits placed in our lives (Philippians 1:6, 2 Corinthians 9:10)
  9. Father, we are grateful for the healing power upon us bodily, spiritually, and within our souls (Jeremiah 17:14)
  10. Father, we are thankful and full of gratitude for the assembly, friends, and the special people around us helping our growth in you (Psalms 128:3)
